The Color of Wealth in Boston.

Produced with Duke University and the New School, the report finds that while nearly 80% of whites households in the Boston Metropolitan Statistical Area own a home, only 1/2 of Caribbean blacks, 1/3 of U.S. African-Americans, and less than 1/5 of Dominicans and Puerto Ricans are homeowners. It also finds that the median net worth of white households in the Boston area is $247,500, while that of U.S. African-American families is $8, Caribbean Blacks $3,020, Puerto Ricans $3,020, and Dominicans is $0.
